Custom Tuning Wrenches

Gooseneck and T-Handle Tuning Wrenches

Greetings! Whether you own a psaltery, a dulcimer, a zither, a harpsichord, or an autoharp, you'll want to keep it in tune. And chances are, there are at least a few strings, (usually the shortest ones), that can give you trouble. This is where I come in:

My name is Eric Meier, and among other things, I make custom tuning wrenches for stringed musical instruments. A tuning hammer, a tuning lever, or a tuning wrench: whatever you call it, it is the tool that you use to keep your instrument in tune, and I've got them! But what is so different about the tuning wrenches that I sell?

For one thing, they're long. It's all about leverage: the longer the handle, the more leverage you have over the pin, (and consequently, the finer adjustments you are able to make on your musical instrument). The tuning wrenches listed for sale below are much longer than most all other tuning levers available anywhere else.

Additionally, many of these tuning wrenches are made of exotic woods and materials, and come in an array of shapes and sizes. They are not mass-produced and sloppily fit together and dipped in yellowy lacquer: each one is hand-crafted and made with care and attention to detail.

Even if you don't find exactly what you are looking for below, I can make a custom wrench for you as well. If you have a special or unique instrument, and would like a special tuning wrench to match, I can probably help you out.
